CUDA-Z

CUDA‑Z is a utility that reports basic characteristics of CUDA‑enabled graphics processors and general‑purpose GPUs. It reads the installed CUDA driver and DLL versions, displays core capabilities of the GPU, and provides performance metrics for integer, single‑precision, and, where supported, double‑precision calculations. Memory size and bandwidth are also shown, and the collected data can be exported as HTML or plain‑text files.

The tool targets users who need a quick overview of NVIDIA hardware such as GeForce, Quadro, Tesla, or ION chipsets on Windows, Linux, or macOS. It is intended for developers, system administrators, or enthusiasts who want to verify driver installation and assess the computational potential of their CUDA devices without running full benchmark suites.

CUDA‑Z is released under the GNU GPL v3, allowing redistribution and modification. Separate 32‑ and 64‑bit builds are provided for each platform, and recent versions include clipboard export, 64‑bit integer testing, and support for newer NVIDIA hardware. The macOS version is currently in beta and requires the appropriate CUDA driver.
