MassReplaceIt

The utility lets macOS users perform bulk find‑and‑replace operations on both file names and file contents. It can scan entire folder hierarchies, apply multiple search actions in a single run, and filter target files by attributes such as type or size. Regular‑expression support and macro capabilities provide advanced pattern matching, while a preview mode shows proposed changes before they are written.

Saved searches can be organized into folders and reused, and a default search can be set for quick access. The interface displays detailed results, and users can select individual changes, whole files, or entire folders to apply. A history of recent searches enables undoing of previous modifications as long as no conflicting changes have been made.

The application runs on macOS 10.13 and later, supporting both Apple Silicon and Intel processors. It is offered as a free tool with an optional donation model for continued development.
